The Story Behind It
Why I Made This

I'm a Venture Stratus owner and fellow RVer based in Burleson, Texas. Like a lot of you, I kept hearing the stories — shore power cords ripped out, sewer hoses dragging down the road, stabilizer jacks grinding across the pavement. And I kept thinking: why isn't there something that physically prevents this?

Checklist apps don't work when you're tired and rushed at 6am. Sticky notes fall off. You need something that makes it physically impossible to drive away before you're ready.

So I designed the Dummy Ball — a dummy coupler insert that latches right into your ball socket while you're parked. You literally cannot hitch up without removing it first. That's your reminder. That's your checklist trigger.

I made the first one for myself. Then my wife smiled at it. That's how you know it's a good idea.
